Velvet Solitaire Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how A&R Games handles information when you use Velvet Solitaire on Android. Velvet Solitaire does not require an account or sign-in.
Information handled by Velvet Solitaire
A&R Games does not operate a user-account database for Velvet Solitaire and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, contacts, precise location, or payment information to play the game.
The app stores gameplay preferences and settings locally on your device, such as game options and appearance choices.
Advertising and third-party services
The Google Play version of Velvet Solitaire uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertising and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage privacy and consent choices where required.
Depending on your device, region, settings, and consent choices, Google and its advertising technologies may process information such as:
- Advertising ID or other device/app identifiers when available;
- IP address and general location inferred from it;
- Device, operating-system, app, and network information;
- Ad interactions and app interaction information;
- Diagnostics, performance, and fraud-prevention information; and
- Consent and privacy-choice information.
This information may be used by Google and its partners for advertising or marketing, analytics, and fraud prevention, security, and compliance, subject to applicable law and your available privacy choices.

Custom card-back images
If you choose an image from your device to use as a custom card back, Velvet Solitaire uses that image to create the custom card-back appearance. The selected/customized image is stored locally in the app's private storage on your device. A&R Games does not upload your custom card-back image to its own servers.
How information is shared
A&R Games does not sell a Velvet Solitaire user database. Information handled through Google Mobile Ads or UMP may be transmitted to and processed by Google and participating advertising/service partners as described in Google's policies and according to your applicable consent choices.
Data security
Velvet Solitaire relies on Android platform protections for locally stored app data. Network communications performed by Google advertising and consent services use the security measures provided by those services. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Data retention and deletion
Local game settings and custom card-back data remain on your device until they are replaced, cleared through Android's app-storage controls, or removed when the app is uninstalled. Because Velvet Solitaire does not maintain user accounts or an A&R Games cloud profile for gameplay, there is no separate Velvet Solitaire account to delete.
Information processed by Google or advertising partners is retained and deleted according to those parties' policies and applicable privacy choices.
Your privacy choices
Where required, Velvet Solitaire uses Google's consent tools to present available privacy choices before requesting personalized advertising. Android and Google settings may also let you reset, delete, or limit use of the Advertising ID and adjust ad-privacy settings.
Children's privacy
Velvet Solitaire is a general-audience card game and is not designed specifically for children. A&R Games does not knowingly operate an account system that collects personal information directly from children through Velvet Solitaire.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Velvet Solitaire's features, advertising practices, third-party services, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be posted at this same location with a revised “Last updated” date.
